Girls ECNL Celebrates Players’ Limitless Potential
RICHMOND, VA (November 8, 2018) – The first Girls Elite Clubs National League (Girls ECNL) National Event of the season will kick-off this weekend in Phoenix, AZ, with the nation’s top female youth soccer league celebrating the limitless potential of its players, teams and clubs. The #NoCeiling campaign recognizes a decade of the Girls ECNL transforming youth female soccer, and looks toward a future of even more opportunity, growth, and development.
The #NoCeiling campaign will showcase the passion, drive and unlimited potential of today’s ECNL athlete through digital and local market activations throughout the season, challenging players to dream bigger than ever before.
“Today’s ECNL elite athlete has more opportunity to excel than ever before, and the passion of the players within the league to be the best on and off the field continues to grow every year,” said Girls ECNL Commissioner Jen Winnagle. “We want to provide a platform with the incredible opportunity in sport, in service, and in leadership, and to embrace the drive of these players and teams to set new standards of performance in all aspects of their lives.”
In the tenth year of the Girls ECNL, over 4,000 ECNL alums are playing Division I college soccer this year, and Girls ECNL alums are headlining all-conference awards across the country. The ECNL College Impact tracks the incredible achievements of these players, and sets a bar for the current generation of ECNL players to meet and exceed. With each alum’s success story inspiring today’s female ECNL player to dream bigger, the #NoCeiling campaign will inspire and use the power of role models to drive players forward on the field, in their community, and towards their goals.
“Our potential to grow, change, and innovate as players, teams, clubs and a league has no ceiling, and this vision affirms our commitment to create the incredible future we envision,” said ECNL President Christian Lavers.
