ECNL Announces Relationship with Safety Tag
RICHMOND, VA (May 6, 2015) – The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL), the nation’s premier female youth soccer development and competition platform, has entered into a relationship with Safety Tag, a pioneering player safety monitoring and readiness platform in the United States.
Safety Tag uses a dynamic cloud-based platform to enhance communication of important medical information between coaches, parents, and organizations. The platform is available anywhere there is an internet or data connection by any device with a web browser, and gives individuals a reference resource for the numerous challenges they can potentially face during a training session or game. Safety Tag allows every player to have a personal Player Safety File that allows coaches to access specific medical information and emergency action plans provided directly by the parent or legal guardian of the athlete, delivering real time access to information for rapid response in the event of an emergency. As a tool to enhance player safety, Safety Tag will be part of the ECNL’s expanding Health & Education Resources (H.E.R.) Platform
“The ECNL is excited about the partnership with Safety Tag, “ said Sarah Kate Noftsinger, ECNL Commissioner, “Safety Tag offers an accessible and secure communication platform to share necessary health related updates in emergency situations.â€
“Safety Tag is proud to partner with ECNL, a leader in the development of youth girls soccer.†said Michael Buono, founder and CEO of Safety Tag. “Safety Tag allows parents to provide vital information specific to their child, and an Emergency Action Plan, that is connected to the coach’s smart phone or tablet. Safety Tag gives parents peace of mind that their coach is equipped with a tool that can help avoid unnecessary incidents and reduce the risk of injury.â€
