The 2018 ECNL College Impact – Colonial Athletic Association

RICHMOND, VA (November 8, 2018) – Ten years ago, the Girls ECNL transformed the landscape for girls’ soccer and began a movement that would impact all levels of women’s soccer. The ECNL College Impact catalogs the incredible impact ECNL Alums have on collegiate women’s soccer conferences across the country every year.

The ECNL College Impact for the CAA includes all players currently active on CAA rosters:

  • 131 ECNL Alums are currently playing in the CAA Conference.
  • The CAA Defender of the Year, for the second consecutive year, (Madeline Anderson) is an ECNL Alum.
  • There were 43 ECNL alums in the 2018 Big South freshman class, nearly 50% of the class.
  • 14 players on the CAA First Team, Second Team and All-Rookie Team are ECNL Alums.

The CAA includes the College of Charleston, University of Delaware, Drexel University, Elon University, Hofstra University, James Madison University, University of North Carolina Wilmington, Northeastern University, Towson University and the College of William and Mary.
