The ECNL College Impact – Southern Conference (SoCon)

RICHMOND, VA (November 20, 2017) – The ECNL College Impact series catalogs the incredible impact of ECNL Alums on collegiate women’s soccer every year. In 2017, once again, ECNL Alums are dominating the landscape in conferences all over the country.

The ECNL College Impact for the Southern Conference includes all players currently active on SoCon rosters:

  • There are 111 ECNL Alums currently playing in the SoCon.
  • 7 of the 12 players on the SoCon First Team are ECNL Alums.
  • 73% of the players of the SoCon All-Freshman Team are ECNL Alums.
  • The SoCon Defensive of the Year (Allie Lourie) and is an ECNL Alum.

The Southern Conference includes The Citadel, East Tennessee State University, Furman University, Mercer University, University of North Carolina Greensboro, Samford, University of Tennessee Chattanooga, Virginia Military Institute, Western Carolina University and Wofford College.
