The ECNL Encourages Players To Get In “The Zone”
RICHMOND, Va (November 13, 2014) – The Elite Clubs National League (ECNL) is announcing the launch of “The Zone” – a health and wellness resource and destination created specifically to meet the unique needs of elite teen female athletes. ECNL’s The Zone is designed to help young female athletes maintain peak performance, experience new recovery and rejuvenation protocols, and learn to better manage the demands of top-level athletic training and competition.
The Zone will make its first appearance on November 14, 2014 at the ECNL National Event in Phoenix, AZ at Reach 11 Sports Complex and is part of the ECNL’s Amazing Young WomenTM campaign providing female-focused health, wellness and developmental platforms specifically for elite youth female athletes as they define their individual paths to success.
“Players don’t just grab orange slices after a game and stop being athletes,” explained Kate Noftsinger, ECNL Commissioner. “Today’s female athletes are pushing themselves like never before, and The Zone will help them learn how to maintain their high standards of performance over time in a healthy, comprehensive way.”
The Zone includes both a physical and digital component.
